Peconic Community School is currently seeking creative, passionate, inquisitive candidates for the following openings:
Education Programs Director: This position is borne out of the successful partnership between HMF and PCS in presenting one the East End’s most popular summer camps for children ages 3-12. Based on the success of the Arts on the Farm summer camp, HMF and PCS will be adding year-round programming including school break camps, Parent/Child programs, and after-school activities. The Education Programs Director will be integral to the continued success of the summer camp and the success of the expanded program offerings. The Education Programs Director will be the primary person responsible for planning, administering, and supervising the Arts on the Farm Summer Camp. The individual will also be responsible for developing and implementing additional educational programs designed for children ages 2 through 15. The position is also responsible for administering the Museum Farm’s school visitation program. After School Spanish Educator: PCS is seeking a Spanish teacher to work with students in grades K-6, in small group settings for 40-minute lessons 1 to 2 times per week. This is a consulting position, paid hourly.
Substitute Facilitators: to assist at PCS on an occasional basis. If you are interested in subbing, volunteering or being a part of our school community, we welcome your interest in the school and encourage you to reach out at any time.
