We are so excited to announce the launch of our first session of After School programming at our new PCS Cutchogue Campus! 

*Offerings in Music, Drama, Art, Chess, Spanish Immersion and a Creative Maker Lab beginning in January!*

Classes are OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS (not just PCS students!)

Creative Maker Lab with Shannon Timoney

12 Classes: Mondays, January 15th - April 15th, 3:30 - 4:45pm

Grades 3 - 8

Fee: $450 for one child (10% discount for multiple children in the same family)

Maximum 15 students (minimum 6 enrollments to run the class)

The Creative Maker Lab is a hands-on, interactive, and innovative class designed to spark the imagination and foster creativity in students from 4th to 8th grade! In this class, young makers will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of exciting projects and develop their problem-solving skills while having fun.

This class is designed to be a dynamic and collaborative environment. Students will work individually and in groups on various projects, enabling them to learn from each other's ideas and experiences. The emphasis is on practical application and hands-on learning. Spanish Language Learning Immersion with Paola Flórez

6 Classes: Monday sessions *or* wednesday sessions, January 22nd - march 4th, 3:30 - 4:15pm

Grades K - 4

Fee: $325 for one child (10% discount for multiple children in the same family)

Maximum 5 students (minimum 2 enrollments to run the class)

¡Hola amigos! Welcome to "¡Vamos a Hablar en Español!", the most fun and exciting after-school Spanish program specifically designed for super cool kids like you (Kindergarten through 4th grade). Get ready to embark on an incredible language adventure where learning Spanish becomes a superpower! In our small group sessions, we'll dive into the vibrant and colorful world of Spanish language and culture. From day one, you'll be immersed in conversational activities, interactive games, and awesome hands-on projects that will make Spanish come alive.

Spanish is Paola’s native language. She will guide you through a variety of engaging activities that will enhance your vocabulary, boost your pronunciation skills, and ignite your passion for learning. We'll play exciting games like "Spanish Simon Says," learn Spanish traditional games, and learn popular Spanish songs to sing and dance along with.

Express the Mess: Art Explorations with Catherine Connelly

12 sessions: tuesdays, january 16th - april 16th, 3:30 - 4:45pm

Early Childhood 3’s - Grade 2

Fee: $450 for one child (10% discount for multiple children in the same family)

Maximum 12 students (minimum 6 enrollments to run the class)

In this class students will be able to explore many different art making materials and create a wide variety of projects. As a class we will introduce a new material each week or every other week and in our time together we will fully explore and play with that art material and learn all there is to know about it. We will be working with materials such as paper, air dry clay, yarn, fabric, popsicle sticks, recycled materials, paint, markers, pastels and much more! Students will work independently and as a group to create projects related to each material and together we will all learn about the many methods of creating art!

Drama Club with Jenna Becker

12 sessions: tuesdays, January 16th - april 16th, 3:30 - 4:45pm

Grades 3 — 8

Fee: $420 for one child (10% discount for multiple children in the same family)

Maximum 15 students (minimum 6 enrollments to run the class)

In Drama Club, children will learn about stage terminology, being an audience member and performing. We will use drama games to build communication skills through verbal and nonverbal expressions, collaboration, self confidence, voice projection, articulation with words, improvisation and persuasive speech. Together as a team we’ll use drama to express ourselves individually and together as a community. 

Private Lessons in Voice/Piano with Jenna Becker

12 lessons offered mondays, wednesdays *or* thursdays, January 15th - april 18th

30 minute time slots available between 3:15 and 4:45pm

Grades 1 — 8 for Voice and Grades K - 8 for Piano

Fee: $690 for 12 thirty minutes lessons

Voice: 30 minute private lessons with Ms. Jenna working towards improving musical technique. Learning about breath, registers of the voice, resonance, tone, and preparation for an audition and end of the session recital.

Piano: Students will practice note reading and playing, rhythm, efficient practicing, ear training and preparing to play for an audience at an end of the session recital. 

Private Lessons in Piano with PCS Alum Asen Roussan!

12 lessons offered tuesdays, January 23rd - April 15th

30 minute time slots available between 3:30 and 4:45pm

Grades 1 - 8

Fee: $690 for 12 thirty minutes lessons

*NEW THIS WINTER* Book private lessons with PCS Grad, Asen Roussan! Asen is a PCS Alumni and former PCS Student Body President, now a freshman at Southold High School. Trained at East End Arts Music School and an accomplished pianist of 10 years with studio recordings to his credit, he is well-known by the PCS Community for his memorable piano performances throughout his tenure here. Asen teaches students age 7 and up privately, and is thrilled to return to PCS in this new role.
