First Annual Dr. MLK Jr. Day Justice March and Community Celebration

So many thanks to everyone who came out to join us for our First Annual Dr. MLK Jr. Day Justice March and Community Celebration at our new home in Cutchogue — what an incredible turnout of families, friends, community members and PCS Alums (so many alums!❤️) to honor and amplify Dr. King’s mission of action, justice, peace and equality! The day kicked off with student speeches, followed by a community justice march through downtown Cutchogue, student exhibits, a booth linking anti-racism work with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, art activities, music, storytelling and a fire pit with s’mores in the back field.

And, of course, special thanks to the PCS Student Council for organizing today’s all-day event of action, service, education and celebration. Today was a(nother!) dream come true that speaks so clearly to the PCS vision of making the world a better place through the education. Thank you for leading the way, PCS student council!
